Donita Fashion Expands to the U.S. Market

In 2004, Donita Fashion launched as a brand extension of the international clothing company, Liza Christina Garment Industry, located in West Java, Indonesia. Following the brand’s success in Europe and Asia, in 2011 Donita opened its U.S. corporate showroom and distribution warehouse in Southern California, led by National Sales Director Michael Berens, a veteran in the clothing business for over 20 years, with experience in results-driven sales, brand launches, marketing, merchandising, manufacturing, retailer support and responsive customer service. Working together with both a children’s designer in the U.S. as well as the design experts in Indonesia, Donita Fashion U.S.A. have delivered full seasons of apparel that has captured the attention of retailers looking for quality-made dresses, unique embellishments, on-trend colors, prints and comfortable fabrics, plus reliable delivery and service –– all at prices that provide retailers with attractive profit margins. For all seasons, and for all the right reasons, Donita is earning its quality reputation as it continues to build a children’s apparel brand that’s responsive to the needs of retailers and consumers.

International Designer and Manufacturer

Donita’s corporate parent, Liza Christina Garment, began as a home industry in 1976 and has grown to become an international supplier of girls’ dresses for all occasions, formal to casual with new designs annually for spring/summer, fall, holiday and special occasions. The company exports to countries around the world, including Australia, France, UK, Japan, Middle East, Canada and the United States.

Liza Christina’s apparel production is currently producing up to about 75,000 pieces per week. Backed by expert craftsmen, state-of-the-art technology and computerized patterning and embroidering machines, garment production has increased yearly, with an outstanding lead-time of 4 to 8 weeks from cutting to shipment.

Reliable Delivery

The company’s export and import team makes sure that orders are packed carefully and shipped on time. With priority custom clearance for fabric and accessories, delivery is assured as soon as orders are received. Well in advance of the actual shipment date, vessels are scheduled, containers configured and packing slips prepared along with export documents to maximize efficiency.

For the U.S. and Canadian markets, Donita Fashion U.S.A. has a dedicated corporate showroom/distribution center in Southern California that receives and ships all its domestic orders.
